The War Guilt Clause
The War Guilt Clause was the act of making Germany admit that they were the only nation that caused the war. This was one of the hardest things for Germany do agree to do, although they had no other choice than to accept. Stating that they were the sole ones to blame, Germany not only lost pride, but the people of Germany lost faith in their Government.
